“... Man-Thing!”

In "... Man-Thing!", Steve Gerber’s bold new take on the swamp-dwelling giant begins with a name clash that ignites a cross-dimensional clash of titans. When the Thing arrives in Florida to settle a grudge over a shared moniker, he’s drawn into a battle that spans realities—where the Molecule Man’s fractured legacy leads to a showdown in the Florida swamps. Gil Kane’s dynamic art, inked by Joe Sinnott and colored by George Roussos, brings the chaos to life, while John Romita’s cover captures the moment the two titans meet.

The Thing is cooling his heels in the New Mexico desert when he decides to head to Florida and take on the Man-Thing for appropriating his name. In an alternate dimension, the Molecule Man has duplicated himself and his "son" decides to take vengeance on the Fantastic Four when his "father" dies. Instead of arriving in New York, Molecule Man finds himself in the Florida Swamp where Thing and Man-Thing are able to separate the villain from his power staff and reduce him to dust.
