Love and Rockets #41
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeLove and Rockets #41 presents one of the series' most visually arresting covers: a small, wide-eyed figure with green hair stands tiny and vulnerable beneath a stormy purple sky, a dramatic jagged bolt of lightning splitting the deep crimson background beside them. The image perfectly sets the tone for the story title it houses — "Death, God, and the Devil Are One" — with that lone figure's quiet unease feeling genuinely weighted against the elemental forces looming overhead. Gilbert Hernandez's clean, deceptively simple linework makes the cover all the more striking, and this 1993 Fantagraphics issue is a fine example of why Love and Rockets earned its devoted readership.
