Harvey Comics' Little Dot #31 from 1958 is a cheerful delight, with the polka-dot-obsessed Dot front and center, blowing an enormous spotted bubble-gum bubble — even the bubble itself is covered in dots, naturally — while clutching a bag of bubble gum and sending a startled boy tumbling backward in surprise. It's a wonderfully playful cover that captures everything endearing about Dot's dot-crazed world in one bright, sunny image.
