In "The Fixers," Richie, Irona, and Nurse Jenny stumble upon a series of seemingly vandalized items during a picnic on the Rich estate. While Irona and Nurse Jenny quickly set things right with their usual efficiency, the trio soon realize their repairs were part of a surprise movie shoot planned for the grounds.

Little Dot was created in 1949 by Harvey Comics publisher Alfred Harvey and artist Vic Herman, debuting as a one-page backup filler in Sad Sack Comics. She graduated to her own title in September 1953, redrawn by Steve Muffati in Harvey's emerging house style, and the series ran continuously for 164 issues through April 1976 before a brief 1992–1994 revival. By the time issue #83 appeared in late 1962, the book had long settled into its anthology rhythm of Dot lead stories supported by Richie Rich and Little Lotta backup features — a format and cover price (twelve cents) consistent with the rest of Harvey's Silver Age output.
