Little Dot #63

Harvey Comics' Little Dot #63 from 1960 opens with a wonderfully silly scene: Dot confidently lugs an enormous tuba nearly as big as she is, sending a cascade of colorful bubbles billowing across the cover — completely upstaging a red-haired boy seated nearby, who can only watch in bewildered frustration with his humble bubble-blower and bucket. It's the kind of cheerful, slapstick charm that made Harvey's humor line so appealing, and the polka-dotted title lettering ties the whole bubbly composition together perfectly.
