In "The Case of the Disabled Justice League!", five iconic figures—Ludwig van Beethoven, Demosthenes, Helen Keller, John Milton, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt—stage a dramatic mock battle for a group of disabled boys, only to find themselves suddenly afflicted with the very disabilities they once overcame. As their powers vanish and their bodies betray them, they realize a sinister force is behind their downfall: Brain Storm, who has seized control of their minds. Now, the rest of the Justice League must confront their comrades—now under an enemy's influence—before the mind-controlled heroes cause irreversible harm.
