In "Indestructible," the first chapter of Justice Society of America: Thy Kingdom Come, Nathan Heywood grapples with a terrifying transformation as Reichsmark’s molten metal fuses with his body, granting him regenerative powers and a new, steel-clad form. With the JSA crafting a suit inspired by his grandfather’s legacy, Nathan steps into his role as Citizen Steel, while Superman seeks answers from Starman about the Legion’s mysterious visit—and why Thom remains behind. As Power Girl leads him on a mission to rescue trapped college students, Nathan begins to rebuild his life, reconnecting with the survivors of his family’s tragic picnic. Written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Dale Eaglesham, with colors by Jeromy Cox and letters by Rob Leigh, the issue’s striking cover by Alex Ross captures the weight of this pivotal moment.
In "Indestructible," Nathan Heywood grapples with the strange aftermath of surviving a brutal encounter with Reichsmark, his body now fused with molten metal that regenerates his lost leg. With the Justice Society of America crafting a suit inspired by his grandfather’s Steel armor, Nathan steps into a new role as Citizen Steel, testing his limits in a mission to rescue hostages in New York. Meanwhile, Superman seeks answers from Starman about the Legion’s mysterious visit—and why Thom chose to stay behind—while Nathan finds quiet closure in reuniting with the young survivors of his family’s tragic picnic.
In "Bells & Whistles," Jesse Quick’s legacy as Liberty Belle is tested when Damage, a man scarred by Zoom’s past violence, storms Atlanta seeking revenge—forcing her to confront the Speed Force she’d long since abandoned. With Zoom’s return reigniting old wounds, Liberty Belle must answer the call, not just to stop a rampage, but to reclaim a power she thought she’d lost.
In the prologue to *Justice Society of America: Thy Kingdom Come*, the two Wildcats take on a charity fight to repair the damage they caused—only to be pulled into a real emergency when a fire breaks out at a paint factory. There, they discover the body of Goth, a former Titan foe, slain by an otherworldly force he tried to control. As Starman attempts to contain it by opening a black hole, the rift pulls in a version of Superman not from this world, thrusting the JSA into a mystery far beyond their own.
In "Thy Kingdom Come: What a Wonderful World," the Justice Society of America grapples with the presence of a Superman who claims to hail from Earth-22, a world where heroes once fought a great war under his leadership. As Starman recalls that past battle, the newcomer begins to question whether this Earth’s path—so different from his own—might be the one worth saving. Meanwhile, Mr. Terrific and Dr. Mid-Nite pursue the killer of Gotham’s own, while Jay Garrick and Wally West attempt to harness the Cosmic Treadmill for interdimensional travel, all as the JLA arrives in New York to confront the Superman of Earth-22.
In "Thy Kingdom Come: The Second Coming," the Justice Society of America grapples with the arrival of a mysterious new Superman, while the Flashes detect a strange, alternate universe. As the JSA welcomes the new Judomaster and a lone Power Girl finds unexpected connection, a fresh Mr. America steps into the spotlight—each moment deepening the mystery of a world that shouldn't exist.
In "Thy Kingdom Come: New Recruits," the Justice Society of America begins a new chapter as veteran members like Wildcat push younger recruits to prove themselves—testing Judomaster’s skills in the field—while others scout for fresh talent. Meanwhile, the new Mr. America remains locked in a tense pursuit of the elusive Heartbreak Slayer, his mission unfolding in the shadows.
