Jughead & Friends Digest Magazine #19
In "The Mismatch-Maker," Jughead's legendary burger-making skills take a wild turn when a two-foot-long creation accidentally sends him packing from Pop's. Out on the streets, the oversized sandwich becomes an unexpected weapon when a hoodlum threatens him—only to be bested by a single bite. With Betty by his side, the duo turns the massive meal into a double-duty defense against a pair of troublemaking thugs, earning a surprise victory and a new signature sandwich named in their honor. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Samm Schwartz, with a cover by Fernando Ruiz and Jon D'Agostino, this 2007 digest tale delivers classic Archie charm with a deliciously absurd twist.

Pop kicks Jughead out for creating a hamburger that's two-feet long. Outside the shop, he uses the over-sized sandwich to beat a hoodlum. Betty treats Jughead and herself to two of the hamburgers at Pop's. When two other hoodlums come in and start trashing the Chok'lit Shoppe, Betty and Jughead use the two over-sized hamburgers to beat them silly. Pop is so happy about it he names the new sandwich the "Jughead Burgerino."
