Soaring through warm, billowing clouds, Invincible and a red-haired young woman in pink reach their clasped hands skyward in a moment that feels equal parts triumphant and romantic. Ryan Ottley's cover art captures a genuine sense of joy and motion, with FCO Plascencia's rosy palette giving the whole scene a warm, dreamlike glow. Robert Kirkman's "All-New, All-Awesome" Invincible was hitting its stride in 2009, and this issue looks like a great place to see why.
