A lush jungle backdrop sets the stage for this 2006 Image series entry, as Invincible and a pink-costumed heroine streak through the air above a crouching blonde woman on the rocky ground below. Ryan Ottley's cover art captures an urgent, kinetic energy — the two fliers' expressions suggest they're heading straight toward something just out of frame. Robert Kirkman's series wears its tagline ("Probably the Best Superhero Comic Book in the Universe!") with cheerful confidence, and this issue looks like a fine reason to believe it.
