The tag line says it all — "He risked it all to get his life back. But that life has moved on without him. Bummer." — and Ryan Ottley's cover captures that awkward sting perfectly. A crowded social gathering of humans and a wonderfully varied crowd of aliens (drinks in hand, expressions ranging from grinning to suspicious) surrounds two women in conversation, while a wide-eyed young man in a yellow-and-gray outfit looks on from the background like someone who just walked into a party he wasn't quite expecting. It's a surprisingly funny and human moment for Skybound's self-proclaimed "best comic in the universe," and with Robert Kirkman writing and Cory Walker on interior art, issue #127 promises that blend of humor and heart the series does so well.
