Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley's long-running Skybound series reaches issue #104 with a genuinely unsettling cover: a caped, cybernetic villain looms menacingly over a wounded, bloodied young woman collapsed on the ground, while glowing orb-like drones encircle them both against an eerie green-lit backdrop. Ottley's linework captures both the threat radiating from the standing figure and the vulnerability of the fallen hero with striking clarity. It's a tense, visually charged image that makes it very hard to set this one back on the shelf.
