I Hate Fairyland #13

There's something wonderfully absurd about seeing a wide-eyed, manic little fairy creature clutching an "F.U." pennant and a stack of books, grinning like she owns the place — apparently, Fairyland has a campus now. Skottie Young's cover art captures that signature blend of sugar-sweet visuals and anarchic energy, with the bug-eyed protagonist hovering over what looks like a tidy collegiate quad, decked out in a letterman jacket and a matching cap. Issue #13 from Image Comics delivers exactly the kind of cheerfully chaotic promise that has made this series such a delightful treat.
