Part of DC's 1994 "Zero Hour" initiative, this special issue carries the tagline "The Beginning of Tomorrow!" — and the cover by Darryl Banks and Romeo Tanghal delivers on that promise with real energy. A determined Green Lantern, fists raised and ring blazing, surges upward in a burst of emerald light while an enormous, looming figure — rendered in ghostly green — towers behind him, its massive hands flanking the hero on either side. Writer Ron Marz sets the stage for "Second Chances," a title that hints at reinvention and possibility without giving anything away.
