“Silent Interlude”

In "Silent Interlude," Scarlett’s routine parachute drop takes a dangerous turn when Storm Shadow captures her and delivers her to Destro’s Castle as a gift for Cobra Commander. With Scarlett held captive and the mission cloaked in silence, Snake-Eyes must move unseen through enemy lines to rescue her—only to uncover a startling connection between them, revealed through a shared tattoo on their right forearms. Written and drawn by Larry Hama, with inks by Steve Leialoha and colors by George Roussos, this tense, stealth-driven tale unfolds with quiet intensity. The cover, by Ed Hannigan and Klaus Janson, captures the moment of suspense with striking precision.

Storm Shadow has captured Scarlett while she was on a routine parachute drop exercise and brought her to Destro's Castle as a present to Cobra Commander. Snake-Eyes learns of her capture, and has to sneak in stealthily to rescue her. During the rescue, we learn that Storm Shadow is related to Snake-Eyes somehow based on both of them having the same tattoo on their right forearms.
