“Apparent Conclusions”

In "Apparent Conclusions," Duke leads a high-stakes mission into Trucial Abysmia to dismantle a network of Terrordromes, only to be captured by Tomax and Xamot during a desperate retreat from Benzheen. Meanwhile, Snake-Eyes grapples with the aftermath of Cobra Commander’s assault on Storm Shadow, while Stalker issues a firm warning to the Commander to stay away from the recovering warrior. As tensions rise, Hawk steps in to shield Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Stalker from further interference, and Snake-Eyes makes a quiet but significant decision to secure Martina’s future with a new family. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by M. D. Bright with inks by Randy Emberlin, this issue blends tactical intensity with personal stakes, all rendered in vivid colors by Bob Sharen and sharp lettering by Rick Parker, with a striking cover by Bryan Hitch.

A Joe team led by Duke is sent into Trucial Abysmia to destroy several Terrordromes, but are later captured by Tomax and Xamot as they attempt to escape Benzheen. Snake-Eyes deals with Cobra Commander's attack on Storm Shadow, and Stalker tells the Commander to go back to Cobra Island or else while Storm Shadow recovers from his wound at Scarlett's hand.
