“The Alexandria Quatrain”

Part of the 1991 Infinity Gauntlet crossover event, this issue of Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme puts the Master of the Mystic Arts front and center — his red Cloak of Levitation billowing as he and a white-haired woman in magenta surge through a swirling time warp portal, while a robed, gem-bearing figure looms to the left and the colossal, ghostly visage of Thanos dominates the sky above them all. The tagline "Trapped in a Time Warp!" makes clear that Strange and his companions face something stranger than a simple sorcerous scuffle. Cover art by Chris Marrinan and Mark McKenna gives the scene real energy, with "The Alexandria Quatrain" promising plenty of mystical intrigue inside.
