Detective Comics #9

Part of DC's sweeping 2012 "Night of the Owls" crossover event, this New 52 issue of Detective Comics drops Batman squarely into the chaos as multiple armored Talon assassins descend on him simultaneously. Tony Daniel and Sandu Florea's cover captures the brutal energy of the assault, with Batman and at least three Talons clashing in a tangle of claws, blades, and cold blue light high above Gotham's skyline. With Arkham itself apparently in the Owls' sights, this issue promises a collision between Gotham's most dangerous enforcers and its most complex sanctuary.
