In "Eternity...Humanity...Oblivion!", the Defenders embark on a desperate mission to restore Eternity by retrieving three scattered fragments of his essence. Each team—Hellcat and Daimon Hellstrom in Srinigar, India; Hulk and Nighthawk in Korinsk, Russia; and Sub-Mariner and Valkyrie in Patras, Greece—faces trials tied to the very fabric of existence itself.

In "The Vampire Strikes Back!", the Defenders find themselves caught between a deadly ancient threat and an unlikely ally when the Six Fingered Hand unleashes Dracula to crush them. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, the heroes and the vampire lord must forge a fragile alliance to stop Puishannt and his rising army of the undead.

In "The Rock and Roll Conspiracy!", the Defenders find themselves at odds with Ghost Rider, convinced he’s tied to the sinister Six-Fingered Hand. When their mistake becomes clear, they join forces with the flaming rider to stop Asmodeus Jones, a rock star with a deadly agenda, as he prepares to trade his fans’ souls to the dark entity Fashima. The stakes rise when the Six-Fingered Hand eliminates Felix, leaving the team to confront a threat that’s as much about music and myth as it is about damnation.

In "The Hand Closes!", the Defenders are summoned by the Avengers after the mysterious disappearance of Citrusville through the Nexus of Realities. Facing the demonic Unnthinnk and thrust into the alien realm of the Six Fingered Hand, the team confronts a threat that tests their unity—leading to a pivotal moment when Nighthawk decides to leave the group.

In "The Final Conflict?", Mephisto manipulates the very fabric of reality by exploiting the missing pieces of Eternity and Dr. Strange’s teleportation magic, weaving a deadly trap that threatens to unravel the multiverse. As the cosmic stakes rise, Strange must confront the consequences of his own power before Mephisto’s sinister design unfolds.

In "...Rising...", Dr. Strange, Beast, and Mr. Fantastic venture into the fractured Resurrection Stone in search of a cure for Vera, only to find themselves trapped in a realm where the boundaries of life and death are dangerously thin. Forced to confront the unknown, they are ultimately pulled from the brink by the unexpected intervention of the Son of Satan.

In "Peace on Earth--Good Will to Man," Steve Rogers answers a psychic distress call from a woman he once saved, leading him into the high-tech fortress of August Masters. There, he finds the Defenders already captured and must help free them, only to face a deadly choice when Masters triggers a self-destruct sequence that threatens everyone in the complex.

In "The War to End All Wars!", Dr. Strange, Damion Hellstrom, Beast, and Daredevil race across the country to Colorado, where August Masters is poised to unleash a psychic assault on Russia—threatening to spark a global conflict. With Captain America and the rest of the Defenders trapped in the crossfire, the team must stop a war before it begins.

In "On Death and Dying...", the Defenders gather in mourning after a devastating explosion, their unity tested when Valkyrie falls. As Hellcat and Gargoyle prepare a memorial in a quiet field, Valkyrie’s spirit reaches out to Hellcat, while across realms, Karnilla pressures The Enchantress for the Rose of Purity. When the group attempts to summon Valkyrie’s spirit through a seance, their efforts take a dark turn—just as Dr. Strange begins his ritual, the soul of Valkyrie is torn apart and consumed by the enchanted blade of Dragon Fang.

In "The Wasteland!", Daimon Hellstrom, the Hulk, the Sub-Mariner, and Hellcat venture into a desolate, otherworldly realm to retrieve Valkyrie’s original body, clad in her iconic white outfit. But the mission takes a darker turn when Valkyrie’s soul is held captive by the Enchantress within the cursed Dragonfang, and love itself becomes a force that pulls Barbara Norriss’s spirit into the same abyss.
