Deadpool Minibus #[1]
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 2014 Marvel collection gathers the complete run of the Deadpool Minibus series, a compact but action-packed storyline featuring Wade Wilson as he clashes with the symbiote-fueled serial killer Carnage (Cletus Kasady). The volume also includes a bizarre crossover where Deadpool teams up with Sherlock Holmes, blending Marvel's merc with a mouth and the classic detective in a time-traveling adventure.
In "Deadpool Kills Deadpool Part 1," the merc with a mouth is left barely recognizable after a brutal defeat at the hands of Carnage, who steals a minivan and takes Shriek with him. As Deadpool tracks them to a forgotten ghost town hiding a secret military base, he plunges into the underground tunnels, only to face another brutal encounter—this time with a twist that changes everything. Written by Cullen Bunn and brought to life with gritty precision by Salva Espín, with vibrant colors by Veronica Gandini and sharp lettering by Joe Sabino, the issue’s cover by Mike Del Mundo captures the chaos in bold, striking detail.

The story resumes with Carnage definitely winning round 2 and leaving Deadpool on the interstate looking more like a pound of ground beef than anything else. Carnage grabs Shriek, who was injured at the start of the battle, and proceeds to car jack a family filled minivan and heads off in search of a sign. Deadpool eventually finds Carnage's trail at an old ghost town. Turns out there's a secret military base under this ghost town though and Deadpool heads underground looking for Carnage and Shriek. He finds them and gets worked over good. He recovers a little differently than usual.
