Night of the Living Deadpool #1

Marvel's 2014 zombie-comedy mashup kicks off with a cover by Jay Shaw that perfectly sets the mood: a sea of dark, shambling silhouettes crowds the frame beneath a pale full moon, while a lone Deadpool — rendered in his signature red-and-black — peers up from the middle of the horde with his usual unsettling calm. The stark near-monochromatic palette makes that splash of red all the more striking, giving the whole image a genuinely eerie atmosphere that the "Parental Advisory — Not For Kids!" warning only reinforces. With Cullen Bunn writing and Ramón Rosanas handling art, ink, and color duties inside, this series promises a uniquely off-kilter take on the undead apocalypse.
