“Crisis on Earth-One!”

"Crisis on Earth-One!" kicks off a multiversal showdown with the JLA rushing to aid the JSA against the enigmatic Aquarius. As Alan Scott's and John Stewart's energies falter within a collapsing protective bubble, Aquarius intervenes—only to seize control of them, forcing the heroes into a brutal clash. With Starman's rod flaring dangerously and Black Canary trapped by Green Arrow's adhesive shaft, a desperate sacrifice from her husband Larry alters the tide. The story unfolds with emotional weight and high-stakes action, written by Denny O'Neil and brought to life by Dick Dillin’s dynamic art, with inks by Sid Greene and lettering by Gaspar Saladino. The cover, a striking collaboration by Dave Gibbons, captures the moment’s intensity.

The JLA go to aid the JSA against Aquarius. Meanwhile both Fate's and GL (Alan)'s energies begin to wane inside their bubble due to exhaustion; Aquarius saves them in order to put them under his control. They fight the JLA and as Starman's rod energies begin to increase an enormous energy ball forms, threatening to kill Black Canary trapped by one of Green Arrow's adhesive shafts. Her husband Larry awakens from Aquarius's control and sacrifices his life to save her. Both teams regroup to defeat Aquarius. Devastated over her husbands loss Black Canary leaves the JSA and moves to Earth-1.
