“Crisis on Earth-A!”

In "Crisis on Earth-A!", the Justice League of America faces a bizarre threat when the Lawless League and three monstrous creations from Earth-One’s Johnny Thunder collide with their reality. Written by Gardner Fox and illustrated by Mike Sekowsky, with Bernard Sachs handling inks and Joe Letterese on letters, this 1965 classic blends cosmic chaos with a twist that rewrites the past—just as the Thunderbolt’s power begins to unravel the timeline once more. The cover by Mike Sekowsky and Murphy Anderson captures the moment of high-stakes uncertainty, making this a standout issue for fans of early JLA adventures.

The JSA defeats the Lawless League and then the three monstrous creatures created by the Johnny Thunder of Earth-One. He concedes defeat and tells the Thunderbolt to turn back time to before he ever heard of him. T-Bolt then later stops Johnny when he's about to wonder if he has a counterpart on Earth-One again, since all previous events were erased from everyone's minds.
