“Drums!”

In "Drums!", Jack Kirby delivers a pivotal chapter in the Black Panther mythos as T'Challa uncovers the ancient origins of Wakanda’s vibranium mound and the Black Panther legacy. With art by Kirby and inks by Mike Royer, the story follows T'Challa and Abner Little as they return to the Collectors, only for a stolen vial of miracle water from Samurai City to spark chaos. The cover by Kirby and Ernie Chan captures the tension, as Wakanda itself faces a new threat when General Jakarra’s reckless exposure to raw vibranium sets a dangerous transformation in motion.
