In "The Beasts in the Jungle!", Black Panther returns to New York City to open a Wakandan mission at the U.N., where he confides in Captain America that his vibranium exposure sharpens his instincts—alerting him to an impending crisis rooted in America. As T'Challa patrols the city, he encounters the fallen Klaw, whose sound horn has been stolen by a new street gang calling themselves the Thunderbolts. Meanwhile, Monica Lynne and Kevin Trublood arrive from Georgia, followed closely by the mysterious Windeagle. Written by Ed Hannigan and illustrated by Jerry Bingham, with inks by Gene Day and colors by Nelson Yomtov, this 1979 issue features a striking cover by Bill Sienkiewicz and Joe Rubinstein.

Monica Lynne and Kevin Trublood arrive in New York from Georgia followed by Windeagle.
