The Joker has never looked quite this theatrical — Riley Rossmo's cover for this August 2017 DC/Dynamite co-publication shows the Clown Prince of Crime center stage, gleefully hoisting two skulls aloft like grotesque trophies, one draped in a red cloak and the other in the Shadow's signature dark hat and cape. It's a chilling visual declaration of dominance over two of pulp fiction's most formidable figures, rendered in Rossmo's distinctively loose, unsettling style with Ivan Plascencia's muted purples and crimson pooling beneath.
