About this Collection

This German-language collection brings together the 2017-2018 crossover miniseries Batman & The Shadow, written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Riley Rossmo. The story teams the Dark Knight with the classic pulp vigilante The Shadow, pitting them against a mysterious enemy who threatens Gotham City with a weaponized version of the Shadow's own power to cloud men's minds. It's a gritty, noir-infused team-up that explores the legacy of vigilante justice across two eras.

A 2018 Panini Deutschland release, this issue of Batman & The Shadow features the characters Batman and The Shadow in a story titled "Der Bock," written by Steve Orlando and Gerlinde Althoff, with artwork by Riley Rossmo, who also handled inking, and coloring by Ivan Plascencia, with letters by Walproject. The cover, also by Riley Rossmo, presents a striking visual of the two iconic figures in a noir-inspired setting.
