Batman: Fear State: Omega #1
In "Fear State Omega," Batman takes personal charge of transporting Scarecrow to Arkham Tower, turning the ride into a tense, philosophical exchange about the aftermath of the city-wide terror unleashed by the Fear State. As they travel, the Dark Knight confronts the fallout—Miracle Molly behind bars, the Unsanity Collective vanished, Simon Saint working under government oversight, Peacekeeper-01 still at large, Poison Ivy reconciled with Harley Quinn, and the uneasy alliance forming around training Clownhunter under Ghost-Maker. Written by James Tynion IV and illustrated by Riccardo Federici, Christian Duce, Ryan Benjamin, Guillem March, and Trevor Hairsine, with inks by Federici, Duce, Benjamin, March, and Hairsine, colors by Chris Sotomayor, and letters by Clayton Cowles, the issue’s cover by Jamal Campbell captures the gravity of Gotham’s unraveling.
