Batman #4

Part four of "I Am Gotham" arrives with a cover by David Finch and Matt Banning that makes brilliant use of vertigo — Batman looms in silhouette from a Gotham rooftop as a blue-and-grey caped figure hovers in the canyon of golden-lit skyscrapers below, the city's sheer scale pressing down on both figures. Tom King's run was already generating real excitement in 2016, and this image of two cloaked figures confronting each other against Gotham's towering skyline captures that tension perfectly.
