About this Collection

This collection launches the DC Rebirth era for the Dark Knight, introducing the mysterious new heroes Gotham and Gotham Girl as they clash with Batman over the future of the city. Written by Tom King with art by David Finch and Mikel Janín, the volume also features a confrontation with the villainous Hugo Strange and sets the stage for the epic 'I Am Suicide' arc. Collects Batman (Rebirth) #1-6 and the Rebirth one-shot.

In "Batman: Rebirth," a new chapter begins as Batman confronts a mystery tied to two new vigilantes—Gotham and Gotham Girl—whose origins trace back to a past incident the Dark Knight once stopped. With David Finch’s striking art and Tom King’s sharp storytelling, the story unfolds through a tense web of clues, collapsing bridges, and unexpected allies, all leading to a shocking encounter with Strange and Psycho-Pirate. The cover by David Finch captures the issue’s dramatic tone, setting the stage for a bold new era in Gotham.
