On the other Earth, Batman confronts Red Mask and discovers him to be that Earth's version of the Joker, who has learned about his other Earth alternate, and wants to duplicate the circumstances that led to him losing his sanity. When Red Mask releases a poison gas on Gotham, Batman tries to stop the gas, but first he must defeat Ghost-Breaker, that Earth's version of Ghost-Maker.
