Batman #78
In a Gotham where Bruce Wayne is dead and Batman never existed, a man named Bruce takes up the mantle of the Bat-Man to fight the city's new rulers. As he investigates the murder of his counterpart, he uncovers clues pointing to Darwin Halliway—whom he suspects is the Joker of this world—while a relentless Red Mask sends Dent to hunt him down.
In "Der Bat-Man von Gotham, Kapitel 4," Batman faces a chilling echo of his past when he confronts Red Mask—revealed to be Darwin Halliway from another Earth, who sees himself as a twisted reflection of the Joker. With Gotham threatened by a deadly gas attack, Batman must first overcome Ghost-Breaker, the other Earth’s version of the Ghost-Maker, before he can stop the spreading poison.
In "Die Spielzeugkiste: Kapitel 2," Tim uses a device crafted by Toyman, aided by Mister Terrific, to journey across the multiverse in a desperate bid to find Bruce and bring him home. The adventure unfolds with the weight of a mission that stretches beyond any single reality.
