Batgirl #6
Part six of six arrives with a cover tagline that says it all — "Mother-Daughter Bonding" — as Batgirl and a sharp-fanged, vampiric woman are bound back-to-back, surrounded by a swarm of bats while an armored, hulking figure looms menacingly in the background. David Talaski's cover bathes the whole scene in a moody golden-green light that gives it an almost gothic atmosphere, perfectly suited to the arc's apparent tone. With Tate Brombal's story reaching its conclusion and art by Takeshi Miyazawa with colors by Mike Spicer, this finale looks like a genuinely satisfying payoff to whatever dark family drama has been building across these six issues.
