When a condemned man’s ghostly vengeance begins to unravel a city’s justice, a murdered judge and a missing magician become entangled in a mystery that defies the living world. With Everett’s distinctive, moody style driving every page, this issue stands as a striking example of early horror comics at their most atmospheric.
