Journey into Unknown Worlds #11
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis June 1952 Atlas anthology delivers classic cold-war-era chills, promising "The Weirdest Tale of Horror and Suspense" with the story "Frankie Was Afraid!" Bill Everett's cover tells a genuinely unsettling visual story: three men in pinstripe suits stand nervously beside tall clock towers in the upper panel, while below, those same figures have transformed into grotesque creatures — a hunched green monster and a winged demon — their humanity stripped away beside those same ticking clocks. Bernie Krigstein handles the interior art, bringing his distinctive draftsmanship to whatever terrors await inside.
