Archie's TV Laugh-Out #62
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis cheerful 1978 installment of Archie's TV Laugh-Out delivers a delightful Jaws parody right on its cover, penciled by Stan Goldberg and inked by Jon D'Agostino. A massive, grinning shark looms on a ship's deck while a blonde girl exclaims "Archie! Have you ever seen such jaws?" — only for Archie in his striped shirt to reply he's looking at her, not the beast — and in the foreground, Jughead in his crown is completely oblivious to it all, happily devouring an enormous submarine sandwich. A bearded old sea captain looks on from the side, making this a wonderfully goofy scene that captures the gang's signature brand of warm, slapstick humor.
