In "Toil Turmoil," Mr. Weatherbee is buried under a mountain of paperwork, determined to finish his report—only to have his efforts undone by a paper airplane launched by Archie, who’s more interested in doodling than duty. When Miss Grundy finally checks on the report, all she finds is the crumpled, airborne reminder of the chaos that unfolded on the principal’s desk.
In "Fortune Hunters," Ethel takes a fortune cookie's prediction—she'll marry a tall blonde man—dead seriously, convinced it's about Jughead, despite his lack of both height and blond hair. Jughead, caught in the crosshairs, tries to play along by hiding under a mop wig, while Archie and Reggie step in to gently remind Ethel that fortune cookies are just for fun.
