“Take Two!”

In "Take Two!", Archie and the gang set out to buy Pop Tate a birthday gift, only to end up at an auction where Archie accidentally purchases a hideous painting. When Jughead spills ketchup on it, Mr. Weatherbee discovers a hidden artwork beneath—and suddenly, the whole gang is at odds over what to do with it. The cover by Dan DeCarlo captures the chaos, while Joe Edwards’ art brings the classic Riverdale antics to life in this 1996 Double Digest gem.
