“Where There's a Will, There's a Way”

In "Where There's a Will, There's a Way," Wanda fights to reclaim her identity and possessions in a courtroom battle that takes a surreal turn when she’s whisked into a realm of ancient, cosmic forces. Writer Bill Mantlo and artist Jim Lee deliver a bold, visually striking story where Wanda must confront her past—both as Walter and as herself—amid a choice between mythic powers, aided by a surprising ally in Aurora, now a nun. The cover, also by Jim Lee, captures the moment’s intensity.

Wanda tries to prove in court that she is really Walter so she can get her possessions back from her ex-wife. During the trial, she is swept to another dimension where she is asked to choose between joining the great beasts or the elder gods. Rejecting both, Wanda also rejects her old life as Walter with a little help from an old teammate and love (that would be Aurora, who is now a nun).
