Marvel Two-In-One Alpha Flight & La Masa #55
In "Querer es Poder," Wanda faces a surreal trial to reclaim her life, only to be pulled into a cosmic抉择 where she must choose between ancient powers—only to find her true self in an unexpected alliance with Aurora, now a nun. Written by Bill Mantlo and José Mendez, with dynamic art by Jim Lee and inks by Al Milgrom, this 1991 issue blends courtroom drama with otherworldly mystery, all rendered in bold colors by Bob Sharen and sharp lettering by Tina Gil. The cover, by Todd McFarlane and Bob Wiacek, captures the moment of transformation with striking intensity.

Wanda tries to prove in court that she is really Walter so she can get her possessions back from her ex-wife. During the trial, she is swept to another dimension where she is asked to choose between joining the great beasts or the elder gods. Rejecting both, Wanda also rejects her old life as Walter with a little help from an old teammate and love (that would be Aurora, who is now a nun).
