Goblyn
Goblyn is a feral, otherworldly creature who debuted in Marvel's Alpha Flight series. She is the twin sister of Laura Dean, a young mutant whose power to open portals to an alternate dimension called Liveworld had kept Goblyn hidden away there since birth.
Few characters carry quite the mystique of Goblyn, who clawed their way into Marvel's universe in 1987 courtesy of writers Bill Mantlo and artist Terry Shoemaker in the pages of Alpha Flight #48. A product of the Copper Age's taste for the strange and the uncanny, Goblyn has haunted Marvel's Canadian corner of the universe ever since, sharing adventures with heavy hitters like Sasquatch, Vindicator, and Box, as well as the intriguing Kara Killgrave and the enigmatic Goblyn Dean. With nearly four decades of publication history and a spotlight in the celebrated Alpha Flight by Mantlo & Lee Omnibus, this is a character whose quiet persistence rewards the curious collector willing to dig into one of Marvel's most distinctive corners.
