Adventures of Superman #557

Two energy-trailing Superman figures (one in red-and-white, one in blue) streak downward through a cavernous underwater setting, while below them a group of armored undersea warriors with tridents and a dark-haired mermaid react with alarm. Karl Kesel, Barbara Kesel, Val Semeiks, and company bring their full creative firepower to "The End of the World as We Know It!" — a title that promises the kind of high-stakes, world-shaking adventure that made the Superman books such a thrill in the late '90s.
