PJ Holden
PJ Holden is a Northern Irish comic artist best known for his gritty, expressive work on British anthology titles, particularly *2000 AD*. He was born Paul Jason Holden on 28 December 1969 in Belfast, where he continues to live and work. Holden entered the comics industry through the UK scene, contributing to *Warhammer Monthly* and the *Judge Dredd Megazine* before becoming a regular presence in *2000 AD*. His signature style—detailed, kinetic, and well-suited to action and horror—has been applied to long-running characters like *Judge Dredd* and *Rogue Trooper*, as well as the series *Johnny Woo*. Among his notable collaborations, he worked with writer Garth Ennis on *The Lion & The Eagle* and *Fearless*, and with writer Si Spurrier on *Numbercruncher*. In the American market, he contributed to *DC Horror Presents: Soul Plumber* and the graphic novel *James Bond: M*. Over a career spanning from 2007 to the present, Holden has been credited as artist or inker on 38 issues.
