Prog 1979 of Britain's long-running weekly anthology arrives with a cover by Simon Davis that commands attention: a battered, battle-worn barbarian face rendered in raw, expressionistic brushwork — blue war-paint fractured by red wounds, one eye swollen nearly shut, a grim beard caked with the evidence of hard fighting.
