Allen Milgrom was born on March 6, 1950, in the United States. He built a long, versatile career at Marvel Comics as a penciller, inker, writer, and editor. Milgrom is perhaps best known for his decade-long editorship of the anthology *Marvel Fanfare*, as well as his extensive work on *Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man*, where he handled writing, penciling, and inking. He also penciled *West Coast Avengers* for four years and spent many years as the regular inker on *X-Factor*. A frequent collaborator with Jim Starlin, Milgrom often inked Starlin’s distinctive pencils. Outside Marvel, he co-created the DC Comics superhero Firestorm. His credits as artist or inker span dozens of issues from the late 1970s into the 2020s, including runs on *The Avengers*, *Kitty Pryde and Wolverine*, and *Fantastic Four*. Milgrom’s steady, workmanlike style and ability to juggle multiple roles made him a reliable presence in mainstream comics for decades. He has received industry recognition for his contributions, though specific awards are not detailed in the available record. His legacy is that of a durable craftsman who helped shape several of Marvel’s key series during the Bronze and Modern Ages of comics.
