Wu is a member of the Uhari, an aquatic alien race, who became affiliated with the Future Foundation. Wu first appeared when the Fantastic Four encountered civilizations thriving in the uncharted depths beneath Earth's oceans.

Born into the pages of Jonathan Hickman and Dale Eaglesham's landmark Fantastic Four #576 in 2010, Wu is a Modern Age Marvel creation whose story has quietly unfolded across more than a decade of comics.
