It includes the lead-up to the arrival of a mysterious new villain, the return of a long-lost member of the Richards family, and the introduction of the Future Foundation. Hickman's intricate plotting and focus on the Richards family's legacy, alongside artists like Dale Eaglesham and Neil Edwards, make this a must-read for fans of cosmic and character-driven superhero storytelling.
In "The Bridge Chapter One," the Fantastic Four brace for the return of Franklin and Valeria when Reed unveils The Bridge—a radical dimensional gateway designed to peer into alternate realities for answers. As the team prepares to test it, HAMMER strikes, cutting power and plunging Sue, Ben, and Johnny into an elevator that spirals into a chaotic fusion of realities. Written by Jonathan Hickman and illustrated by Sean Chen, with inks by Lorenzo Ruggiero, colors by John Rauch, and letters by Virtual Calligraphy and Rus Wooton, this issue sets a bold new course for the team. The cover, by Alan Davis and Mark Farmer, captures the moment of rupture with striking precision.
