FF #23

Marked boldly as the "Final Issue," FF #23 brings Jonathan Hickman and Nick Dragotta's run on the series to a close with a cover — by Kalman Andrasofszky — that radiates energy in every sense: a beaming young boy in a white-and-teal number-5 uniform surges toward us at the forefront, while behind him a woman in purple-and-teal, a man in black, a multi-armed figure in purple, and a red-haired girl in white all burst outward through an explosive orange and gold light. Cris Peter's colors give the whole composition a warm, triumphant glow that feels more like a celebration than a curtain call. Story title "Run" promises there's still momentum to spare as this chapter of the Future Foundation reaches its end.
