FF #22 brings Jonathan Hickman's ambitious run on Marvel's Future Foundation to its penultimate chapter, with a cover by Ryan Stegman that puts the team's young members front and center — a cluster of children in white FF uniforms, including a boy crackling with energy, a girl with blonde hair, and several alien and unusual-looking kids — all seemingly in the grasp of a massive, looming dark figure whose hands reach toward them from the foreground. The contrast between the determined faces of these young heroes and the enormous shadowy presence surrounding them gives the image a real sense of stakes. André Araújo's interior art and Cris Peter's colors carry the story forward under Hickman's signature grand-scale storytelling.
