Skeets

Skeets is a small, hovering security robot from the 25th century who became the loyal robotic companion of time-traveling hero Booster Gold. Originally a museum guide droid, Skeets traveled back in time with Booster and serves as his informational aide and steadfast sidekick.

Few sidekicks in the DC Universe are as instantly recognizable — or as quietly indispensable — as Skeets, the gleaming little robot companion who first buzzed onto the scene in Booster Gold #10 in 1986, courtesy of creator Dan Jurgens. A product of the Copper Age, Skeets has proven remarkably durable, turning up across roughly three and a half decades in titles ranging from Booster Gold to the landmark series 52 and even the offbeat Bizarro Comics. Along the way, this pint-sized presence has shared pages with some of DC's heaviest hitters — Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and of course Booster Gold himself — which tells you everything about the elevated company Skeets keeps. Small in stature but significant in longevity, Skeets is a delightful reminder that sometimes the most memorable characters in comics don't wear a cape.
